- Responsible to review design, equipment methods and material to assure safeguarding of employees and property and compliance with Federal, State and local regulations. - Develop and administrate ongoing safety and Environmental programs design to reduce occupational Illnes & pollution of the Environment. - Identify and assist in areas of Safety and Environmental training needs - Manage lab results and reccomend engineering controls and personal protection equipment - Manage accident investigation and corrective action implementation - Communicate safety and Environmental matters verbally and implement written procedures - Responsible to assuring that all requirement regarding the collection, storage handling, disposal,





recycling and shipment at waste are informed and manage in accordance with the writtrn waste procedures and legal requirements. Additional Information Availability and documentation to travel to USA. Availability to change residence to Nuevo Laredo Tamaulipas Requirements Implementation of norms, procedures and programs of safety and health. The candidate should be proficient in engaging and driving change through leaders at all levels of the organization. Continually evaluate current ESH situation and performance and adjust strategies and tactics to maintain or improve performance. Assess effectiveness of plant leadership from a safety perspective and provide development and coaching as needed. Monitor those who have responsibility in leading EHS programs for skills and capabilities; recommend training; and provide day-to-day coaching, feedback, and functional direction. Ability to promote a team environment and must be able to initiate and drive cross functional teams. Work with site leadership to better intergrate EHS into other functional areas of operation where necessary. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to build consensus and influence others. Demonstrate professional maturity and ability to act as a change leader. Be an employee advocate with health and safety by driving safety as a Value. Experience At least 7 years experience in Safety, Industrial Hygiene and Environmental, also in Corporate Requirements. Education Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
