The Technology Consultant is a member of Workday’s Professional Services organization focused on the implementation of our cloud based Human Resources, Financial Management, and Student Information Systems. This role works closely with the customer’s project team to design, develop and deploy solutions for one or more of the following focal areas: Integrations, Data Conversion, Reporting and Analytics. What you’ll be doing: Integrations: The integration consultant develops solutions to synchronize data between Workday’s cloud-based software and external systems. This role partners with customer teams to gather design specifications, utilize workday development tools to build and test working solutions, and ensure overall project success. Data Conversion: A data conversion consultant interfaces directly with customer and project team experts to design and execute highly strategic data conversion data loads for Workday implementations. This role advises and executes extraction, transformation and load of legacy data via various integration products, tools, and services to ensure the successful deployment of our customers’ data into the Workday tenant. Reporting and Analytics: The Reporting and Analytics Consultant works closely with the customer’s project team to determine reporting needs and best practices. This role is responsible for creating not only quality data display but insightful analysis and evaluation reporting solutions. Activities include gathering specifications, deliverable management, advanced and composite report building, and data analysis. About You: Strong working knowledge of modern software technologies Ability to design, develop, and deploy end to end integration data conversion and reporting solutions Experience in customer facing project work Significant technical experience working with Human Resource, Financial Management, or Student Information Systems A successful track record of delivering results and customer satisfaction Innovative in approach to development and issue resolution Ability to contribute to multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously Deliver results on assigned schedules to ensure project timelines are met Contribute to the customers’ experience in a way that results in high customer satisfaction Ability to work in a diverse, fast paced environment and effectively collaborate across teams Team player who is seen as a partner by your professional services colleagues; creating experiences that build trust and make people want to work with you.
