ERM is seeking a motivated Technical Risk Consultant, who is interested in participating on a variety of Safety projects, to join our consulting firm in Mexico City, MX. In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers on Safety and Technical Risk projects. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide technical support on Technical Risk projects in the development of strategies, processes, procedures, plans, and reports Prepare reports for risk assessments, consequence analysis and safety programs, among others. Perform safety/risk assessments and participate on field activities for different industrial companies. Conduct safety reviews on desk and field, facilitate hazards identification workshops, engineering documents analysis and interpretation (P&ID;, Flow Diagrams, Energy and Mass Balance info). Provide general technical risk compliance support to clients, including on-site assistance, as needed. Perform multiple projects within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverable. Support ERM Partners-in-Charge and Project Managers to effectively manage projects. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BS in chemical or environmental engineering or related degree (combined with Health and Safety work experience). 3-5 years of relevant health and safety experience. Oil&Gas; (offshore) or mining sector experience is highly recommended. High English level (Verbal and Written). Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills; experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports a plus. Spill response background and planning drills and exercises experience. Knowledge and application of Process Safety realted topics (Hazards Identification Techniques – HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, BowTie; Consequence Modelling – Fire, Explosion, Toxic Dispersion) is mandatory. Use Fire/Explosion Modelling Software (i.e. PHAST) and consequence analysis experience. Detail-oriented with aptitude and hands-on trouble-shooting/problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision. High degree of proficiency with software applications such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel. Travel may be required, Passport and driver's licence are required- US Visa (Desirable).
